After the salon: what care belongs at home?

Home care is not a replay of a salon appointment. Find out what was used, then respond to the coat’s everyday needs.

Ask what was used and why

Before leaving the salon, ask which shampoo was used, whether a rinse-off conditioner was added, and which areas need attention between appointments. Record the product name and the result you noticed.

If you want a lighter or more draped finish next time, describe that experience. Product choice is only one part of the outcome; application, rinsing and drying also matter.

Use the right kind of follow-up care

For small local tangles, read the leave-in directions for Hydrating & Smoothing Hair Spray. It supports brushing; it does not make a spray necessary for every brush-through.

Silky Enveloping Care and Lightweight Protein Conditioner are rinse-off products. Their names do not mean they should be left on the coat between baths.

Give home surfaces their own routine

Litter boxes and shared areas need a separate assessment of soil, material and suitable cleaning methods. Do not use one product across every surface or substitute fragrance for cleaning.
